Mickleham Choral Society are staging a first this summer with a toe-tapping show combining the full choir with the Milestone Big Band. It will be a lively and innovative programme featuring sets from the Big Band, the full choir, and rounded off with a joint set mixing the choir with the band. It should be a memorable show. The choir has a reputation for staging innovative and creative shows and this will push even those boundaries. The repertoire will include a mix of delightful music for a summer evening and some surprising arrangements of well-known favourites. The joint set will demonstrate the choir’s versatility with swing jazz and showstopping songs.

The band creates an infectious, good time. atmosphere that will have everyone tapping their feet and dancing the evening away.

The show is being held in the grounds of Mickleham village hall so there will be plenty of space to set up a picnic, sit in comfort and dance if the mood takes you.
